The summer blockbuster, margarita is a fail-safe for all and on the nights when you’re throwing a party it’s a tipple you can’t miss out on. Highly debated amongst bartenders, the original recipe for the Margarita is a mystery, but here’s our take on the quintessential refresher for you to set the bar high.

From the Pantry:
Crushed Ice
Ice Cubes
30ml Cazadores Tequila
15ml triple sec liqueur
45ml lime juice
Salt to taste
Lime wedges
Mix Away:
Chill your glass by filling it up with crushed ice.
Add generous amounts of ice cubes, tequila, liqueur, lime juice and salt into a shaker and shake hard for about 30 seconds to chill the liquids.
Empty the glass of the crushed ice and run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass before rolling it in salt.
Double strain the chilled mix from the shaker into the glass using a strainer and sieve.
