No one loves a smashing supper more than us and the combination of food & theatre has us intrigued. Crow is bringing The Hungry Hearts Supper Club to the capital city with immersive dining experiences and we are hopping on this multi-dimensional bandwagon with our favourite avocation – eating. In collaboration with culinary wizards Rahul Dua and Kainaz Contractor (Café Lota, Rustom’s Parsi Bhonu, Blue Tokai, Rustom’s Cafe & Bakery), prepare for an otherworldly seven and a half course meal that will put other omakases at shame.
Aimed to tickle your curious souls, it ain’t a quiet sit-down dinner. This raucous celebration is taking unconventional love to new heights with 30 audience members interacting together each night and enjoying a unique storytelling experience. Combining the liveness of theatre and the immersion of gaming, you get to dine with a cast of fantastical characters and fellow minglers.
Mystical characters with merriment knowledge, the guests here have their own tales to share. You may learn about your missing socks from the extermination of magical pests or run into the Goddess of Fashion handing out tips to amp up the sass. Create your own set of rules, explore touch, inhabit and influence; build your own multi-sensorial world and step out of reality. So, if you are one of the cynical chimps, tired of the sappy songs and flappy hogs, looking for a little something unusual to spend your night, sign up for this event hosted at the OddBird theatre.
Opening doors on the 15th February (LGBT special), 16th February and 18th February , we hear it’s going to be a riotous evening filled with music, stories, fantastical characters and hosted by Siren. Who’s Siren you ask? A creature who spent most of her years luring handsome sailors to their watery graves. It was, sadly, a sinking business and now she’s now into food. She’s (not so ably) assisted by her Imp, the maître d’ for the night. So, put on your magical glasses and step into the world of fantasy, because there is a world out there with its own actuality, waiting to be shaped into your unique narrative.
