Heat a large skillet over high heat for 5 minutes.
Remove from refrigerator and once the skillet is hot, sear each side for 30 to 40 seconds and move to platter. Do not cook through. Sprinkle with salt for seasoning and rest before cutting.
Place on a cutting board to cut horizontally into 1/4 inch strips. Make one clear cut while slicing rather than rugged cuts.
