Midweek blues or Sunday laze, there’s a gig to suit your every jig. So don’t wait up, put a song in your day and a skip in your step as you dive into these evenings full of jive.
Middle Eastern Fusion by Hadar & Madhav
Two souls from different lands come together in a foreign country to weave together a story of travels across the world with their music. No, that’s not fiction, it’s the real life story of the couple Hadar & Madhav which unfolds at Zorba The Buddha today. France-born Madhav was trained in jazz and gypsy music before he visited India only to fall in love with Hindustani and Carnatic music; and Israel-born Hadar was a western classical pianist before she followed the same route, becoming a Hindustani loyalist. With their Middle Eastern Fusion concert they bring to you the story of their travels of over 10 years and how ‘devotion to music brings two souls together’. Head to their performance for a sublime melange of Indian, sufi, jazz, and middle eastern music.

Channeling their music through the Hang instrument, they’ve also ventured into fusion tunes with electronic music. If music that soothes your senses and makes you want to shift to the dance floor at the same time is your thing, then Hang Massive is for you. Migrations
A DJ performance in a theatre is not something you see (hear) everyday, but Atish & Praveen Achary are here to change just that. The theme of the evening is ‘migrations’, where Atish brings in his experiences from San Francisco and Praveen from Bengaluru. Deep, Tech, and Progressive House by Praveen is mixed with Atish’s emotive and ecstatic music. The two go beyond the typical DJ act and showcase their love for music in their beats, playing warm, diverse, and inviting tunes for you. It’s the perfect Sunday siesta to recharge for the week ahead.
