Thursday is originally from no man’s land as it neither qualifies as a working weekday nor a party weekend (you get the feels right?). So, we suggest you work hard through the day and party at night with this stellar performance by Shadow & Light on the idyllic terrace of The Hungry Monkey. Pavithra Chari and Anindo Bose will be taking the stage with a performance that’ll continue till wee hours of the night. Don’t miss out on the soft centered chocolate pudding while you are there, a decadent match to the symphonic performance.
The When & Where:
Thursday, 13th April at 8:30pm: The Hungry Monkey (B6/6 DDA Market, Safdarjung Enclave)
The perfect location to woo your date and bring in the weekend, take your special someone here for a night of jazz under the sky. The Luis Trio – Loic (guitarist), Jayant (bass player), and Bhairav (drummer & percussionist), perform classic jazz with improvisation that evolves into something groovy. As they drop the beat, we suggest you pair your wine with an equally classic cheese soufflé with a twist of walnuts & beets. As the performance comes to an end and the beats begin to sink, get yourself a Valrhona Dark Chocolate Fondant to continue the indulgence.
The When & Where:
Friday, April 14 at 8:30pm: Le Bistro Du Parc (A-57, 58, 59 Moolchand Market, Defence Colony)

Some of the most exclusive musicians in town are coming together to perform songs by Manta Sindhu, a Delhi based songwriter and singer. Jasmine B. (voice, keys), Sherry Mathews (voice), Nathalie Ramirez (flute), Bhaskar Gurung (bass), Reuben Narain (drums) will be taking the stage at The Piano Man Jazz Club. Sip on some red wine and their classic Old Monk Chicken Wings alongside, as your groove to their tunes. Place the order beforehand, we ensure you wouldn’t want to miss a minute of their performance. Head to Dirty Apron for a supper post the music gig and get the Massaman Grilled Snapper, trust us you wouldn’t regret it.
The When & Where:
Saturday, April 15 at 9:00pm: The Piano Man Jazz Club (B6-7/22 Safdarjung Enclave Market, Opposite Deer Park)
Nikhil Narendra & Shreyas Dipali

Nikhil and Shreyas perform modern, experimental, live music to bring out a raw enthusiasm in the crowd. Embracing the musical world that surrounds them, Nikhil (synths, samples) and Shreyas (drums) resonate the vibe of live electronic music. Previously having performed at Magnetic Fields, the sounds at Depot 48 won’t be anything less eclectic. Order yourself the mango and chilli guacamole to keep company for the performance, but do not miss out on the garlic & rosemary empanadas and do not even think about leaving the premises without banana and toffee waffles. It’s a cardinal sin, never forget.
The When & Where:
Saturday, April 15 at 10:00pm: Depot 48 (Level 2, N3, N-Block Market, GK-1)
See you there? We thought so.
DSSC Top Tip: Do not even begin to think you will get a table without reservation, pick up your phone and book the table pronto!
