In the lush heart of Goa’s Sattari region, a quiet revolution is brewing, and it smells like deodar wood, wild berries, and a touch of pine. Enter Vanaha Gin, the first release from Revelry Distillery, the bold new venture by Vaniitha Jaiin, one of India’s most respected voices in the premium alcobev space.
India’s gin scene has grown up. What began as a small, homegrown movement is now maturing into a world-class segment, complete with cutting-edge technology, terroir-driven storytelling, and spirits that can hold their own on any international shelf.

Vanaha is proof. The 100% natural spirit is crafted with 24 handpicked botanicals. Every ingredient, from Sikkim’s Mandarins, Assam’s Lemons, Cacao Nibs, Orris Root, Angelica Root, Juniper Berries and Palash Flowers, is meticulously selected for its provenance, purity, and role in shaping Vanaha’s signature earthy, woody, and aromatic profile.
It is free from artificial additives and the name Vanaha blends the Sanskrit words Vana (forest) and Aha (epiphany)—a nod to the gin’s origin. A sipping gin that’s meant to be savoured, Vanaha celebrates the quiet luxury of slow living and mindful indulgence.
To preserve the delicate nuances of the botanicals, Vanaha employs three distinct distillation methods: Copper Pot Distillation, Vapour Infusion and Cold Vacuum Distillation (a technique that ensures the preservation of delicate botanical notes), a first-of-its-kind in India. The result? A gin that is smooth, complex, and deeply expressive, layered with earthy, woody, floral, and subtly spiced notes that unfold slowly.
Whether served neat over ice or as the anchor of an elevated cocktail, it adapts effortlessly to every mood and moment. It speaks to a new generation of connoisseurs, especially those who seek depth over dazzle.

Vanaha has been developed at the Revelry Distillery in Goa, the brainchild of Vaniitha Jaiin, founder of The Perfect Pour and one of India’s most respected voices in the luxury alcobev space. Think of Revelry Distillery as a sleek, high-tech lab with a commitment to sustainability. From real-time distillation tracking and scalable production (with a capacity of up to 1 million bottles a year), it’s designed to blend intention with innovation.
Vanaha is a culmination of Vaniitha’s experience and an expression of her vision to put India on the map of the world’s finest craft spirits. “At its core, Vanaha is a celebration of India—its richness, its roots, and its rising global presence. Our vision is to build a world-class gin that proudly embodies the Make in India spirit, and stands shoulder to shoulder with the finest international brands,” she says. The launch of Vanaha Gin comes at a pivotal time in India’s alcoholic beverages journey. The Indian gin market is estimated to reach $2.95 billion by 2032, with the premium segment growing from 20% to 45% of total market share.
At ₹2400 for 750ml in Goa, Vanaha launched in May 2025 and will soon expand to Karnataka and beyond. But more than being ‘the new pour in town’, it signals a shift: a move toward spirits that are rooted in nature, rich in story, and refined in every pour.
